Acceptance testing

Functional tests run by key users on real scenarios before Go-Live; it ends with a signed acceptance report.

Data migration

Migration of master data (customers, products, accounts) and history from the legacy system, with consistency checks.

Go-Live

Go-live: switch-over from the legacy system to the ERP. At Karizma, it is a contractual milestone followed by a hypercare period.

Migration

Move from legacy software (Sage, SAP, Excel) or an older Odoo version to a recent version. See Odoo migration.

Glossary: your questions

To share a common vocabulary between business teams, IT and the integrator during an ERP project. Each term links to the Karizma page that goes deeper, to move from definition to implementation.

The ERP covers management as a whole (finance, sales, purchasing, HR, inventory); the MRP drives production; the WMS manages the warehouse and locations. In Odoo, they are applications of one system sharing the same data.
