Frequently asked questions — Digitalisation subsidies

What funding is available to digitalise my business in Morocco?

Several schemes fund digital transformation: Mowakaba (up to 90 % for micro, small and medium-sized businesses), the Maroc Digital 2030 strategy, Go Siyaha (tourism), Tatwir (industry) and Imtiaz (Maroc PME). Karizma points you to the programme that matches your profile.

What is Mowakaba and how much does it fund?

Mowakaba (Maroc PME) subsidises the digitalisation of micro, small and medium-sized businesses: up to 90 % for micro-businesses (turnover under 10 M DH), capped at 40 000 MAD, and up to 80 % for SMEs, capped at 400 000 MAD. It covers ERP/CRM software, accounting, payroll, e-commerce, integration, training and the first year of cloud hosting.

Is an Odoo ERP eligible for subsidies?

Yes. The software and integration of an ERP such as Odoo fall within the eligible expenditure of digitalisation programmes (Mowakaba in particular), provided you work with an approved integrator. Karizma structures the project to maximise the funded share.

Who can benefit from these subsidies?

Registered Moroccan companies that are up to date with their tax and social security obligations (CNSS). Rates and caps depend on company size (micro / SME) and on the programme, and are set by the awarding bodies (Maroc PME, ADD, etc.).

How does the application process work?

In 6 steps: eligibility check, selection of an approved integrator, online filing (trade register, tax ID, CNSS certificate, financial statements), review by the committee (typically 4 to 6 weeks), start of the project once approved, then reimbursement after delivery. Karizma prepares and follows the application with you.

Which programmes cover tourism and industry?

Go Siyaha supports investment and digitalisation in tourism; Tatwir supports industry and green growth. Depending on the project, both may include a digital component. Karizma helps you identify the right window.

Can Karizma handle the application on my behalf?

Yes. Karizma supports you from A to Z: eligibility assessment, compliant costing, compilation of the file, submission and follow-up through to release of the grant — then ERP deployment.

How long does it take to obtain the subsidy?

Processing generally takes 4 to 6 weeks once the complete file has been filed. Karizma prepares a complete application from the outset to avoid back-and-forth.
