Checklist

Mandatory information on an invoice in Morocco

Seller side

Registered company name and address · Trade Register number (RC) · Tax Identifier (IF) · Common Enterprise Identifier (ICE) · Professional Tax (TP) · sequential invoice number · date of issue.

Customer side and amounts

Customer's name and address · customer ICE (between taxable businesses) · precise description · quantities and unit prices excluding tax · TVA rate and amount per line · total excluding tax, TVA and total including tax · total amount written out in words · payment terms and deadline (law 69-21: 60 days by default, 120 maximum).

The Excel template has its limits: manual numbering, no payment tracking, re-keying into accounting, and before long the DGI electronic invoicing mandate, which will require a structured system. Once you issue a few dozen invoices a month, proper software becomes essential — see our sales management software page and DGI electronic invoicing.

Tip: the 2026 Finance Act already requires electronic accounting — plan ahead.
