Karizma Pay — Terms of use
Karizma Pay employee app — iPhone and Android
In short. Karizma Pay is free for the employee and gives access to the HR services their employer opens. Your HR data remains your employer's; Karizma shows it on the employer's behalf. The current version contains no payment feature.
1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of the Karizma Pay app (iPhone and Android), published by Karizma Conseil. Karizma Pay lets the employees of Karizma's client companies in Morocco use the services their employer opens for them: expense reports and receipts, leave, payslips, HR documents and file, attendance and HR requests.
2. Access to the service
- Access is reserved for adults invited by their employer, a client of Karizma. The app is free for the employee: the employer subscribes to the service with Karizma.
- Your account is tied to your mobile number, your e-mail and your phone (a security key created on the device). You keep your sign-in codes and your phone lock confidential, and you tell support@karizma.ma without delay if your phone is lost or if your account is used without you.
- The services shown depend on what your employer has opened; it can change them or remove your access, in particular when your employment ends.
3. Role of your employer and of Karizma
- Your HR data (payslips, leave balances, documents, attendance) is produced and kept by your employer in its HR system. Karizma shows it on your employer's behalf and does not guarantee its accuracy: questions about its content go to your employer.
- The expense reports, leave and requests you send are passed on to your employer, which approves, refuses or refunds them under its own rules. Karizma is not a party to the employment relationship.
4. Permitted use
You use the app for your own work matters, with accurate information and genuine receipts. In particular, it is forbidden to use someone else's account, to send false receipts, to try to reach data that does not concern you, to bypass the security or to disrupt the service. Karizma may suspend an account used against these terms, after informing the employer where possible.
5. Personal data
The data processed, why, who receives it, how long it is kept and your rights (law 09-08) are described in the privacy policy of Karizma Pay, which is part of these terms.
6. Payment account (planned)
The current version of Karizma Pay contains no payment feature. A later version will offer a payment account (wallet) with Chari Money, a payment institution licensed by Bank Al-Maghrib, once Bank Al-Maghrib has authorised this service. That account will be governed by its own terms, shown and accepted in the app before it opens.
7. Availability and changes to the service
Karizma works to keep the service available at all times but cannot guarantee it: interruptions may happen for maintenance, updates or incidents. Karizma may change, add or remove features; an app update may be needed to keep using it.
8. Liability
Karizma is liable for direct damage caused by a proven breach of its obligations under these terms. Karizma is not liable for the content of the data provided by your employer, for the employer's decisions, or for the consequences of a use of the app contrary to these terms or of a security failure of your phone.
9. Intellectual property
The app, its texts, code, brand and logo belong to Karizma Conseil. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it, limited to the use set out in these terms. Copying, modifying, decompiling or reselling the app is not allowed.
10. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Menu › Delete my account) or by writing to support@karizma.ma, as described in the privacy policy. Your employer can also remove your access.
11. Changes to these terms
Karizma may change these terms, in particular when new services open. The version in force is published on this page with its date. Significant changes are announced in the app before they apply; continuing to use the app means accepting the new version.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Moroccan law. Failing an amicable settlement, any dispute falls under the competent courts of Casablanca, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
